WHY DO TREES USE CARBON DIOXIDE

THE PROCESS OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS

Trees carry out process of respiration in which CO2 is utilized. That is, they absorb Carbon Dioxide the process called Photosynthesis.
Photosynthesis is the conversion of light energy into chemical energy by living organisms. The material are Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and water, the energy source is sunlight, and the end-products include glucose and oxygen.

why do trees grow upwards

trees need the sunlight

Trees grow up because they are trying to get closer to the sun, in order to fuel  the process of photosynthesis.

why do trees lose their leaves

Trees lose their leaves seasonally a especially during Autumn, and to the shedding of other plant structures such as petals after flowering or fruit when ripe.
