WHY IS THE SKY BLUE

The light from the Sun looks white. But it is really made up of all the colors of the rainbow.
A prism is a specially shaped crystal. When white light shines through a prism, the light is separated into all its colors

Sunlight reaches Earth's atmosphere and is scattered in all directions by all the gases and particles in the air. Blue light is scattered in all directions by the tiny molecules of air in Earth's atmosphere. Blue is scattered more than other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time.

The color of an object changes depending on the colors contained in the light source; for example, red paint, viewed under blue light, looks black. Isaac Newton demonstrated with a prism that the white light of the sun contains all colors of the visible spectrum, so all colors are possible in sunlight.

WINDOWS OF GOD

Windows of god is situated on Drakensberg escarpment in Mpumalanga Province in South Africa, Just one look down and you will begin to understand why it is called "God's Window".  With magnificent views, canyons, rock formations and waterfalls.

Wonderful view is about 1,800 m north of God’s window. At an altitude of 1,730m this is the highest viewpoint in the area. No walking necessary as the viewpoint is right next to the road with an angle of depression you can see it all 

There are also beautiful waterfalls in the area the Lisbon Falls is the highest waterfall in the area. For an outdoor adventure: Mpumalanga is the ideal place for a South African outdoor adventure vacation. This is one of the most wonderful places in the world. It is a must see. 

WHERE IS THE EQUATOR

MAGALIESBERG MOUNTAIN

The Magaliesberg is a mountain range extending from Pretoria in the north of the Gauteng Province to a point south of Pilanesberg, in the North West Province, South Africa.
The later inhabitants of the mountain range called them the Kashan mountains,  The Hartbeespoort Aerial Cableway extends to the top of the Magaliesberg mountain range 

The Magaliesberg are among the oldest mountains in the world, almost 100 times older than Everest. They stretch for 120km, for Tourist I would Defenetly recommend it.  

ABOUT PANDA BEARS

The panda bearer is a mammal, is black and white in colour (Also known as the giant panda).
The giant panda lives in a few mountain ranges in central China, mainly in Sichuan province, but also in the Shaanxi and Gansu provinces. As a result of farming, deforestation and other development, the panda has been driven out of the lowland areas where it once lived.

the giant panda still has the digestive system of a carnivore, as well as carnivore-specific genes, and thus derives little energy and little protein from consumption of bamboo.
The giant panda has lived in bamboo forests for millions of years.

Although their habitat and population is on the decline, Panda bear cubs are born to play. But the survival skills they learn from their mother are critical. With proper skills and a favorable environment, cubs can mature to adulthood and continue the cycle of reproduction to save the species. The owl is an enemy of panda babies.

Elephants eat grasses, leaves, bamboo, bark, roots. Elephants are also known to eat crops like banana and sugarcane which are grown by farmers. Adult elephants eat 300 400 lbs of food per day.

The ozone layer spreads like a sheet in earth's atmosphere. The sun's rays consists of most of the rays other than the visible part. It specially consists of UV and IR rays. Among them UV [ultra violet rays] is the most harmful one to human skins. It causes skin diseases in contact with human skin. The main function of ozone layer is to filter these UV rays from the sun and so protecting life. Though it is a poisonous gas

But the cloroflurocarbon CFC gas from the refrigerators affect the ozone layer which results in several holes in the layer

WHAT COLORS ARE IN A RAINBOW IN ORDER

A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection of light in water droplets in the Earth's atmosphere. This immense, curved spectrum of light appears only when both the elements of sunshine and rainfall present.

If the sun, the eye, and the center of the rainbow's arc are not in a straight line, the show is over, before it began. This explains why we only see rainbows in the early morning or late afternoon…it is physically impossible for us to align our eyes with the sun at other times of day, as it is high above our heads! Logically, a morning rainbow appears when the sun shines in the east, and the rain falls in the west, and an afternoon rainbow appears when the sun shines in the west, and the rain falls in the east.
